“I Know You’re There”—Then Sings My Soul Saturdays

Then Sings My Soul Saturday I listened to this Casting Crowns song over and over in 2009, so it’s fitting that I start off 2010 with it.

It says what I want to say—and sometimes do, but sometimes don’t.

May it minister to you as well as give you an opportunity to come alongside and praise God through the lyrics.

He is always there.
He does always see us.
He does always hear us.
Aren’t we blessed?

I Know You’re There
Casting Crowns
LYRICS

If all I had was one last breath
I'd spend it just to sing Your praise
Just to say Your name
If all I had was one last prayer
I'd pray it 'cause I know You're always listening
If I could live a thousand lives, bind the hands of time
I would spend every moment by Your side

CHORUS
'Cause I, I know You're there, I know You see me
You're the air I breathe
You are the ground beneath me
I know You're there, I know You hear me
I can find You anywhere

If all I had was one more song to sing
I would raise a noise to make the heavens ring
If all I had was one last chance, I'd take it
I would stake it all on You

If I could raise up high and catch a glimpse of every eye
I would make them believe
What I feel inside

CHORUS

If I could live a thousand lives and bind the hands of time
If I could rise up high and catch a glimpse of every eye

CHORUS

I know You're there
I know You're there
I know You're there, You're there

Lisa, what perfect words to remember; He's always there. Thank you for sharing this one as your first for 2010. I pray that we will both always remember that He is there.

Blessings and love,
Debbie

Blessings Lisa...I needed this! I love Casting Crown and that "He always there". Praising God that He is always there, He sees & He hears...beautiful first choice for 2010! How wonderful your message and encouragement to us!

Often I know I say "He's always there" to reassure me even when I may not feel that He's there and wonder where He is or was, with confidence and trust, we must declare that HE IS
and then allow that knowledge, that awakening, that fresh touch from His Spirit to lift us and
BREATHE!

Again, I love your words:
"It says what I want to say—and sometimes do, but sometimes don’t."

WE ARE SO BLESSED by the beautiful Redeemer!!!
Thank you for reminding us, He's there and will be, when and if we seek Him! Hope your New Year is as wonderful as you & the message of this song sinks deep down and is confirmed how GOOD God is! AMEN!

Wow...I must have been in a hole in 2009 as I've not heard this song before. God has shared the message of the song with me over and over during the past year, but this is my first time hearing them through Casting Crowns. Thanks for sharing!
