Want a super-quick, super-delicious treat?

My school superintendent made bags of these for her team leaders at Christmas, and I ate mine without sharing with the family. So I got the recipe from her and made some tonight to share.

I halved the recipe and didn’t use nuts; just as yummy.

White Chocolate Party Mix party_mix

  • 10 oz mini pretzels
  • 5 cups Cheerios
  • 5 cups Corn Chex
  • 2 cups peanuts (or cashews)
  • 1 lb. M & M’s
  • 24 oz Nestle vanilla chips
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

In a large bowl, combine everything but vanilla chips and oil.

In a microwaveable bowl, heat the chips and oil for 1 minute. Stir once, then heat 45 seconds more. Pour over cereal mix.  Mix well.  Spread on wax paper.

Let cool and harden.  Break apart and eat!

Yum! I like to just drizzle the white chocolate over a fresh batch of popcorn. Usually it's all gone while the chocolate is still melty. mmmmmm

Deanna,
Over popcorn? I drool at the thought. :-) Two of my favorite things together: popcorn and chocolate. Maybe throw in a rootbeer in front of a fire reading a book...ahhhh....
