I want to answer, “Yes!” And sometimes I do.

But sometimes it’s a “Maybe” at best. And sometimes a solid “No.”

As I get ready to leave for El Salvador:

I want this song “Live like That” ringing in my ears.
I want to give it all I have there.
I want what I say and do to point to Jesus.
I want to live recklessly abandoned because his love is true.

And when I get back home, I want the same.

Thanks, Nikki. Only by the grace of God... I appreciate your confidence--especially in light of just dumping a huge part of me onto you through my answers to your questions. :-) It was good for me to think through them and reevaluate the reasons why I blog. Lisa - I could not get the music video to play ( will try again tomorrow). But I loved the lyrics.
I esp. was taken by "i want my worship to be more than a song" and I know what that meant in the context.
But outside of that context - all of our activities can be a worship and thus a song as we sing unto Him.
I am so excited for you and all the people in El Salvador whose life you will touch - again - a second time back there.
Go in peace and return to share all about it.

I totally agree with you, Lynn. Even the "small" things we can can be worship to him. Every time I try to learn a new word in Spanish, it's an act of worship. :)

Okay, you need to tell itunes you need a percentage of the sale of this song. I had other songs by this group but not this one. Had to get it after hearing it. What a great reminder this morning.
Not sure when you go on your mission trip but saying a prayer for you. You don't have to speak the language. Your smile and kindness will reach them and they will see Jesus in you.

Well, wouldn't it be sweet if I could get commission from this song? :)
