We were made to watch one woman in particular, not all women in general.
For my husband, I am that one woman.
Me.
For better, for worse. I’m the only game in town.
You don’t have to look like Pamela Anderson to attract your husband. He wants to see you.
But am I enough? What if feel fat? Unattractive? Worn out?
Jeff says, Untrue. You are more than enough.
He says, Let me be your mirror.
He says, I see delight, beauty, pleasure.
I must choose daily. My mirror or his?
Do I believe my harsh self-evaluation?
Or his grace-filled vision?
I choose his.
It makes him happy.
It makes me happy, too.
The best satisfaction comes from satisfying someone else, not in being satisfied.

Wow. I needed this. Thanks for sharing.
You.
Just.
Made.
Me.
Cry.
...but thanks for it. :)
Why do we do that? Look in the wrong mirror? I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Thank you for sharing and stopping by with your encouraging words.
Blessings,
Trish
Lisa,
I love the last line, and I love the "I'm the only game in town."
What I love most - that I have found a new blog to follow. I'm pretty picky. It's late now but I will be back to read more!
My post runs on a similar theme this week. :)
oh how my heart feels it... what you said is true.
