I kind of guessed obstreperous from its context, and should have guessed jeremiad because of the Bible book of Jeremiah. Which ones did you already know?

I think I've heard the word infarction (on a show like House) but I've never heard infarct and didn't know what it meant.

Obstreperous is one of those words that I should know but can never remember when I see it. Probably because I don't see it often enough.

I love obstreperous - that's one I use. I am pretty sure that I had jeremiad on my list a while ago - it's a great word!

Here are mine.

I knew infarct, probably due to my dad and father-in-law's heart conditions, but the other words were new to me. It looks like you've been reading some great books!

Here are my words this week...
