Perfect timing

Read all of Mark 13 here And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
Mark 13:20

Caterpillar to butterflyI got stuck in traffic this morning. Cars were backed up from my house to the  highway, so I turned around and went the back roads instead. But they were no better.

The reason? I never figured out.

But in the waiting, God reminded me to be thankful in my “unknowns”. . . because they are all “knowns” to God.

God’s timing is ideal. Whether I understand it or not.

The Lord is in control of times and events and places. He chose to limit the amount of time of those woeful days in the first century A.D. because of His chosen ones.

He moves heaven and earth to set boundaries around His chosen.

How blessed it is to be chosen by God.
Back in those days.
And now in these days. His choices—and His timing—are perfect.

He can be trusted.
Even with morning traffic.
Give Him thanks.

Your words are so true. There are so many unknowns but we can trust the One who knows all.

Blessings,

God is good, all the time. Sometimes when things get really bad, I make myself start counting my blessings.
