We have choice in the moments of our everyday.
We can pursue the things we see on this earth for fullness.
Or we can drink of Him.
Do you wish you’d read your Bible more often? And get more out of it when you do?
Do you long to have a quiet time with more meat and meaning?
Katie and Lara’s new e-book can help.
Frankly, I could tell by the Table of Contents: this is my kind of book.
After reading the whole book, I can assure you that this book delivers. It provides both motivation and practical tips for quenching your thirst with the Living Water.
I tried this method when we studied through Philippians at Do Not Depart. It pulled me into the text from different angles and pushed me to keep going deeper until I knew what I was supposed to do with it in my own life.
And the book itself is short, so it won’t eat into your quiet time.
These additional helps are included:
For every book purchased ($5.49), $2 will go directly to One Verse, a ministry translating the Bible into every language so all people can read Scripture in their native tongue.
If you’d like a free copy of this e-book, please leave a comment below.
I’ll draw a winner on Saturday!

Free is good! This looks like an interesting study...Have a nice day
Good morning - I just popped over here from Chrysalis - it's funny because I am doing a weekly post on how to study below the surface of the word - I started of with a postabout emotional eating and how this can bubble over into how we read the word. This e-book sounds like it would be a great resource for my weekly posts - and free is always lovely - thanks for the opportunity. Off to read your marriage monday post now.
Shelley
Great giveaway :-) My most effective quiet times start with a reading from Valley of Vision to "tune my heart" and keeping the question: "What does this passage reveal about Jesus Christ?" in my mind as I read. It's so easy to get looking for "something for today" instead of learning more about the Savior and becoming more like Him!
Beth,
Yes, free is always welcome to me too!
Shelley,
After reading your posts on study, yes, I know you’ll agree with Katie and Lara’s approach because they suggest reading through the same passage multiple times. And like you said about reading through James, it doesn’t get tedious.
When we’re seeking something (Someone!) in our readings, the dig deeper can be an adventure.
These ladies and this resource are new to me. Thanks for the review of a new resource!
Anything that sends us back to the Word sounds great to me!
I'd love to have this at hand for my quiet time...
Sounds like a great resource. I'd love to be entered for the drawing.
In an age when so many want to dismiss the importance of being in the Word, this is so encouraging, my friend. Please don't enter me. I'm off to buy this. Thank you for sharing this resource! Love and hugs!
Whoa, this looks good! I'm always interested in new ideas---for myself, and to share with others. Thanks for sharing about it.

Living water is a topic from John that I recently studied and wrote about. Living in Phoenix (dry but hot heat), I need to drink lots of water. But only God truly satisfies my thirst.
This sounds like a good study. I'll check it out.
blessings and love,
Debbie
