I’m excited to be attending Imagine in Atlanta next weekend!
The events are held in 28 cities around the U.S.
Here are five reasons you might want to go to a Women of Faith weekend too:
1. To learn
The line-up of speakers looks great. I’m particularly looking forward to hearing Angie Smith, author of I Will Carry You. But I know all the speakers will have fresh words about our sweet Savior and I pray my heart is being prepared to hear them.
2. To laugh
With Nicole Johnson and Luci Swindoll speaking, I know laughter will abound. Who doesn’t need to laugh more?
3. To sing
I look forward to worshiping God with Natalie Grant (Your Great Name and The Greatness of Our God). And Laura Story (Blessings). And Mary Mary. And the Imagine Worship Team.
4. To relate
Because I received two free admission tickets from BookSneeze (thanks!), I’m taking my 16-year-old daughter with me! I look forward to sharing some spiritually-focused time with her.
5. To relax
And after all that’s gone on this summer (including the wedding tomorrow!), I know I’ll be ready to just sit for awhile and relax in a seat!
All these roll into one purpose:
To worship.
Whether we’re learning, laughing, singing, relating, or relaxing, if we do it for the glory of God, we’re worshiping him. It’s what we were made to do.
Whether we’re at an event or at home, let’s do just that: worship.

Wow, what a whirlwind of a summer you're having! So neat to go to this with your daughter. Luci Swindoll cracks me up.
Hope all goes well with the wedding!
The summer has been a whirlwind. Enjoy sitting and taking it all in at the conference. I am really impressed that you have a wedding tomorrow and you sound so casual and relaxed. May God continue to give you and everyone involved peace and joy through each moment of the event! May His love and peace reign throughout the day!
Blessings...
Can't wait to hear about the event! I've been to several and loved them.
And I've sure we're all anxious to see wedding pictures! Enjoy!
Lisa, "Women of Faith" will enrich you on all levels. It has the refreshment of laughter and fellowship and depth in the presentations. And somehow they combine them all into one package.
Hugs - and yes - you will be ready to sit down and let someone else "give to you". Amen!
Oh,it's been 10 years since I got to go to a Women of Faith conference! I know you and your daughter will enjoy it! There's just something about corporately worshipping with an excited group of ladies ...
Well those are all great reasons to attend. So glad you can go with your 16year old......that is a great idea.
I have never been to one.....I really should check into it.
Sounds like you & your daughter will have an awesome time. Praying that God will prepare your hearts to be blessed by Him.
I have only been to one WoF conference and I really liked it. Loved Luci Swindoll and Patsy Clairmont and Max Lucado spoke at that one too.
Have a beautiful day at the wedding celebrating.
I've never been to one of those conferences but I know you will be richly blessed! Looking forward to hearing your comments and raves after!
So many of my bloggy friends are attending the weekends near them. It sounds amazing! I can't wait to read more.

I've been to one women wof event. It was a great time of being enriched spiritually. It was also a great time of being enriched by the women who went with me. But my favourite was the singing. Singing with a CROWD full of women was awesome beyond words. How cool that you got to go with your daughter.
