Let me guess:
- requests for healings
- wisdom for decisions
- comfort for the grieving
- safety for travelers
- salvation for lost loved ones
All good things. All things that should be on a prayer list. God cares about those things and wants you to talk to him about them.
But is that everything?
Isn’t something missing???
My cousin-in-law Julie said it best on her Facebook status after receiving some sad family news. I saved it so I wouldn’t forget.
How much praise is on your prayer list?

I love it!

Great reminder. Gratitude and praise have become such a part of my life in the last year. As I take each step these days, I'm thanking God for every whisper of grace, every slight movement of his hand, any and all signs that he is still on the throne. He is God, I am not. Praise His name!
What a poignant reminder. Our listed usually are more lop-sided the other way.
Julie's words mean all the more in the context of sad family news. Thank you for this. God bless you.
Completely agree. I find the closer my walk with God, the more my prayers are filled with praise for Him.
