SATURDAY OF THE SECOND WEEK OF ADVENT
Do you think Christ first came on the scene when he was born in the manger in Bethlehem?
Not true. We read of his presence even in the very first book of the Bible.
Last Saturday my friends and I were blessed when our friend Stuart sang “He Is” reminding us of our Lord’s presence in all sixty-six books of the Bible. He had put together an amazing video to go with it, letting us not only hear but also see all the amazing ways Jesus is revealed in scripture.
The video below is not Stuart’s, but it is one that shows scripture references for each name being sung about.

I had never heard this song, but wow, I love the text.
Why am I allowing myself to feel so overwhelmed when I serve a God that is all of these things and more?

Thank you so much for sharing this. I LOVE teaching our children about the BIG PICTURE of the Word. They see Jesus from the beginning, and it is wonderful. I wish I had been taught this as a child instead of always focusing on the New Testament and not seeing it as one story.
