Although Christ lives in his disciples every day, he also comes to us anew every day.
In expected ways.
And unexpected ways.
How will he come to you this Advent season?
Watch!
It’s the best way to celebrate Advent. Watching. Watch for the unexpected.
But if you’re watching, then is what you see really unexpected?
Yes. While you won’t be surprised that someone or something arrives, what you can’t predict is exactly who or how.
There are no unimportant visitors for the Christian.
Advent is a time of expectation of the Lord's coming, not on our terms but in whatever way He chooses to come to us today.
Be vigilant!
Who will you see today? How will you respond?

That was lovely. Your words were really inspiring. Have a blessed day.
I got out my Walter Wangerin, Jr. "Preparing for Jesus" devotional for Advent. It is much in the style of his Lenten book I shared with you a year or so ago.
Yes, I am expectant!
Bless you, Lisa during all of this season.
