I have five (at least) new, living things in my house this week.
They bring me smiles.
I’ve coupled them below with five of my favorite verses from the Gospel of John on LIFE.
I pray they each bring a smile to you, too.
1. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 1:4
2. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:24 3. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
John 10:10
4. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
5. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
John 17:3 * * *

beautiful photos, wonderful verses..
love!
Lovely photos, and I appreciate the verses you've paired up with them.
Lovely post, Lisa. Somehow I tend to think of "life" when looking at plants in the spring when so many things are newly blooming after the long winter, but there is evidence of life all around all the time.
Good job matching up those photos with the scriptures! My favorite is #5.
Beautiful post both for the eyes and the spirit!
Lovely photos and thanks for the verses. I haven't had those in awhile. Yes, I smiled :)
beautiful photos! You are blessed to have all those blooms in your home this week.
Thanks for the reminder of where our life comes from - and where to find abundant life.
Great pictures and verses. Isn't it wonderful how even something as fragile and transient as a flower can point us to eternal truths? Have a great week.
Love the verses and your new living things! So happy to be alive in Christ! Have a great weekend.
Thank you for the spiritual lift and the visual likeness.
This was beautiful. I'm late for FFF and I loved your review of the book above. Such good advice for all of us -- give those we're listening to our full attention. Listen. That book looks full of wisdom.
Hope all is well with you, Lisa. Have a good week.
What a great way to combine LIFE and BEAUTY in one post, Lisa. Have a great weekend!
