Front door—Corner View

What do I like the best about my front door?

I can see through it.

front door I know there are prettier doors out there (I’ll see them on Jane’s links!), but a door, after all, is primarily meant to be an opening from one side to the other.

I like my friends that way, too—transparent, accessible from one side to the other.

The more transparent we are with each other, the more together we can be.

I’m glad that in God’s sight, we all are transparent, even when we want to hide. He sees right through us.

And because he knows us, he can help us, guide us, love us.

You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3  You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.

9  If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10  even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
Psalm 139

a transparent front door? now, that's a novelty ;)

even though I'm not religious myself I agree with your thoughts on transparency; I have indeed learnt through the years that the clearer, the better everything is.
