How does Father love us?
He hears us.
He feeds us.
He guides us.
He blesses us.
He teaches us.
He answers us.
He disciplines us.
He strengthens us.
He encourages us.
He befriends us.
He comforts us.
He protects us.
He forgives us.
He shelters us.
He defends us.
He loves us.
How does he do these things?
Perfectly.
How do we do these things?
Not very well.
But imperfectly, with him, we still can . . .
. . . hear and feed and guide and bless and teach and answer and discipline and strengthen and encourage and befriend and comfort and protect and forgive and shelter and defend.
Because? He loves us.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

His love is all those things and we, try as we might struggle daily to come close to looking and loving like He does...yet, He just keeps on loving us.
