“He Is with You”—Then Sings My Soul Saturdays

Then Sings My Soul Saturday Surely we all relate to something in this song. Times of hardship or sorrow or confusion.

Yet regardless of our individual situations, the underlying truth remains the same in each of them:

He is with you.

“There is Love to see you through all this.”
Be blessed by this beautiful song from Mandisa.

He Is with You
LYRICS

There’s a time to live and a time to die
There’s a time to laugh and a time to cry
There’s a time for war and a time for peace
There’s a hand to hold in the worst of these

He is with you when your faith is dead
And you can’t even get out of bed
Or your husband doesn’t kiss you anymore
He is with you when your baby’s gone
And your house is still
And your heart’s a stone
Cryin’ God, what’d You do that for
He is with you

There’s a time for yes and a time for no
There’s a time to be angry and a time to let it go
There is a time to run and a time to face it
There is love to see you through all of this

He is with you in the conference room
When the world is coming down on you
And your wife and kids don’t know you anymore
He is with you in the ICU
When the doctors don’t know what to do
And it scares you to the core
He is with you

We may weep for a time
But joy will come in the morning
The morning light

He is with you when your kids are grown
When there’s too much space
And you feel alone
And you’re worried if you
Got it right or wrong
Yes He is with you
When you’ve given up on ever finding your true love
Someone who feels like home
He is with you

When nothing else is left
And you take your final breath
He is with you

I relate to a lot in this song. I still don't understand a lot of things but this song certainly is great comfort.

Blessings Lisa...perfect song for me and the time I'm going through...a new Ecclesiastes...I remember Mandisa singing this when her CD came out without ever realizing that I would need to hear these words!!! So very thankful, you came to visit me, which prompted me to come & visit here (even though I did not think I'd be visiting), I needed this beautiful reminder. Thank you for your prayer and bless you that through the comfort of this song I will remember that: HE IS WITH ME!!!

I love Mandisa! What a wonderful and powerful song filled with Scripture from Ecclesiastes. There is a time for everything and yet our God knows all and sees all. To me that is so comforting.

Blessings and hugs,
Debbie

This is wonderful, Lisa. I can relate to the words, and I think of others as well...people everywhere have problems, loses, saddness, but we know we have a Comforter who comes alongside to walk through it all with us...never forsaking, never leaving us alone without help.

Thank you for posting this...the Christmas season can be a time that being reminded of God's grace and presence is so needed.

God bless!

Mary

What a great song! Not very long into the song, I felt a connection with the lyrics based on my own experience. Then the song kept building. It would definitely be a wonderful selection to have playing in my waiting room as well.
