“How He Loves” – Then Sings My Soul Saturday

Then Sings My Soul SaturdayWhile attempting to clean up my web bookmarks this week (a poor attempt, matched by equally poor results), I ran across this song. Lynn brought a version of it to my attention a few months ago, and I’m glad it found me again this week.

The Father’s love for us is SO big. Can we ever hear it enough?

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and SO WE ARE.
1 John 3:1

How He Loves

He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane
I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by Glory
And I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me

Oh how he loves us, so
Oh how he loves us, how he loves us so

(Repeat)

We are his portion and he is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in his eyes
If his grace is an ocean we’re all sinking
Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way

He loves us
Oh how he loves us
Oh how he loves us
Oh how he loves

We watched a "Cardboard Testimonies" video last night at CR, and this was the song in the background. Powerful message!

I know I've heard this song before, but it was only once when I really couldn't concentrate on the words. Thank you for sharing it today and blessing us with the wonderful reminder of His love.

Blessings Lisa...I love both Kim's & David Crowder's versions! I have watched Kim many times in this past month...and I have engrained these words in my heart & spirit! I love to dance to this one so I choose Kim's for this but I loved the beautiful flowers of this video with David! I love Kim's spoken message & fire for the lost & stirring up! Love encounter with Jesus...is the BEST! I've gone DEEP & I'm so thankful for the depth of His love!

The message here is so powerful especially for me this past week...coming through this Hurricane in Mexico & remembering oh how HE LOVES US! Thank you for choosing to share this one and 1 John 3:1!

Thanks for your visit & encouraging words!EnJOY
