I got the first three! And I'm a real whiz at John 11:35! I don't want to rush into anything!

I'll download the info. I have to admit I failed the last one... I'll do my best...

No failures here, Floyd. Just those of us still-in-progress. :-) I still haven't gotten Psalm 71 down pat myself. But I've got a feeling you could nail this one with your hands tied behind your back.

A friend and I are wanting to memorize a chapter of the Bible this summer. I feel like I've seen you post a list of recommendations for this in the past. Can you tell me where to find that or if I'm making this up? :)

(I do love the classics challenge for summer, though...what a great idea).

So you already have a good memory! ha. I did indeed have a post about my favorite chapters. It's here: http://lisanotes.blogspot.com/2010/05/collect-bib...

And the chapters I listed there are:

Psalm 27
Psalm 34
Psalm 145
Isaiah 12
Isaiah 43
Matthew 5-7
John 1
Romans 12
Philippians 1-4
Hebrews 12
James 1
2 Peter 1

Other greats are: Psalm 1, Psalm 16, Psalm 91, Psalm 103, Romans 8, 1 Corinthians 13, Colossians 3.

May God bless you and your friend as you take on memorizing a chapter! If you're on Facebook, join our Hide His Word group if you'd like. It's support for memorizing any scripture, not just what Do Not Depart is currently memorizing.

Blessings to you!
