Grace never runs dry

“Stop asking so much!
My grace reservoir is running dry.”

Heaven knows no such words.

God has enough grace to solve every dilemma you face, wipe every tear you cry, and answer every question you have.

Would we expect anything less from God? Send his Son to die for us and not send his power to sustain us?

Paul found such logic impossible: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Rom. 8:32 NIV).
- MAX LUCADO, Grace

His grace is a bottomless pit?

Dare we believe it?

I like the fact that he quoted that verse. We get to in the habit of overlooking the sacrifice of the Father. Can you imagine? That is true love that encompasses all other things. God is not short of anything, only we are in our flesh...
My recent post MY BAD…
The last day or two on Pinterest someone had the quote from Richard Sibbes (a Puritan, I think?) "There is more mercy in Christ than sin in us." Amazing.

Can you imagine life if we truly believed that grace is indeed bottomless? Oh Father, help me think outside of the little box I have put You in!
bottomless grace... the very phrase gives me chills. And humbles me- cause I'm not sure MY grace is bottomless. Thanks for this great thought to mull on today.
