Friday’s Fave Five

1. Electricity

2. Electricity

3. Electricity

4. Electricity

5. And more...
But I’m also thankful for volunteers feeding us meals when we had no electricity; for utility workers from several states repairing our power lines; for chats with neighbors; for flashlights and candles and coolers and ice and radios and batteries and basements and prayers...
and for God coming through—He always has; He always will.

Thanks, Lynda. It's definitely going to be an easier weekend than the last one.
Praying you have a blessed weekend too.

Electricity...I've gone without for four days, with three extra folks in our home at the time. First day was an adventure...second day it was still a bit of an adventure...third day the only adventure left was thinking how wonderful it would be to have a shower...fourth day was total rejoicing when the power came back on! We only dealt with an ice storm...didn't have the trauma of going through those horrific tornadoes that you and your fellow Alabamians experienced. I'm such a whiner sometimes! Grateful that your home was spared the destruction and that your family is safe.

Smiling at your faves! I can totally relate to the first four! Thankfully we didn't lose power, but I'm a big wimp without it. I'm glad for those utility crews who work so hard to get power back and for people who helped.

And I saw on Sammie's blog that you got to meet! How cool!

I'm glad you have your power back. I have been praying for all of you. I still can't believe the devastation. Getting electricity back is the first of the baby steps back to normal.

It's easy to take electricity for granted when we have it! I'm glad yours has been restored. :) Glad, too, for the blessings even through the challenging days.

It's so hard to adjust when you're used to electricity. It makes you SO MUCH MORE thankful for it when you have power again.
