3 words every parent should say daily

Dear sweet Morgan and Jenna,

I am sorry.

Every day I want to be a great mom,
a better mom, the right mom for you.

And every day I mess up.

I am sorry. Really.

I love you,
MomHoover Dam

The truth is that no mother is perfect. We are our own harshest critic. We do our best as imperfect humans. God knows our limitations far better than we do. The most any of us can do in whatever position we hold, including motherhood, is our best. Your kids are blessed that you admits your shortcoming and are willing to tell them I AM SORRY. Just for that I believe you are a wonderful mother.
Blessings,
Virginia

What an awesome example of Jesus to your girls. Those are the words they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Oh . . . you took the words right out of my mouth.

They just don't come out often enough.

Thank you.

I just scrolled down and noticed the "Walk with me Wednesday" sticker here -- so evidently we are shadowing one another from blog to blog. :) Well, that just means we must have kindred spirits!

See you around the blogosphere!
