Definition—a slinglike device for raising or lowering passengers to and from ships anchored away from the shore in a heavy swell
Use—“He put them in a mammy chair that swung them over the side of the ship.”

Haven't heard of mammy chair until just now. The only new words I have for this week are from my toddler and I don't think some of them are actual words! LOL
