Have you ever found that perfect gift for your in-law or best friend? You can’t wait to give it so you can watch their eyes as they open it. You delight in the giving. 
God is the same. He has many great gifts he delights in giving us. One is his very kingdom. He doesn’t make us royalty against his better judgment, or reluctantly, or under compulsion.
It brings him pleasure to do so.
Therefore we have nothing to fear. We have a Father who gives us everything. Righteousness, joy, love.
A life as sons and daughters of the majestic King. By his choice and for his enjoyment!
