September in my Corner View

What does September look like in your corner of the world? Here’s how it looks in mine.

War Eagle War Eagle There is much ado about football in September in the South. My corner proves no exception.

Sunflowers poised to explode Sunflowers

In a few short days, a multitude of yellow faces will spring forth to officially usher out summer and herald forth the fall.

Fly away, birdie Dove season

Dove season officially opens here each September. This year Jenna got involved in the shooting, but her instrument of choice was a camera, not a gun.

Fall – a season of harvest from the year’s planting
Since January, I’ve been beseeching the Father for more joy in His light and a clearer vision of His Son. He never fails. I’m enjoying the harvest from the seeds that he planted.

So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them.
So you'll go out in joy, you'll be led into a whole and complete life. The mountains and hills will lead the parade, bursting with song. All the trees of the forest will join the procession, exuberant with applause.

~ Isaiah 55:11-12

This below isn’t exactly MY view, but it’s out there, and it’s a great demonstration of light and God and exuberant applause!Butterfly Nebula from Hubble

I'm an LSU alumn, so I love your reference to football in the south. Great perspective from your piece of the US puzzle. Thanks for the share :)

Bonnie,
I have seen the "How Great Is Our God" video and miscellaneous others by Chris Tomlin, but not a particular group like you're talking about. Sounds interesting...

When the sunflowers bloom, I'll be sure to post a picture. They're always beautiful, but I have to be very patient; they're such late bloomers.
