Switch your lights off for one hour, 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
This started 2 years ago in Australia and has spread in the name of reducing global warming. That's fine. But in looking at the official Earth Hour home page, why aren't they touting how much "savings" it produced in the past 2 years?
Granted, I didn't read all the fine print or follow up on any links. But make it obvious to me that there is some hard data to prove its worth. Make me more inspired to help out this year.
[How are we Christians doing with this on matters we believe in? Do we try to inspire people with fun "get on board!" ideas to make people feel good about contributing, but fail to reveal the obvious benefits of it?]
