In plain sight of my heart

What I’m memorizing:
Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Proverbs 4:21 Prov 4_21

HOW?
How can I keep his words in plain sight?

My first thought is post-it notes. On my mirror, my fridge, my car.

Or scribbled on a piece of paper that I shove into my back pocket. I do that from time to time.

Or transferred to my Kindle so they’re the first thing I see when I turn it on. That’s been my techno-help of late.

I can use any of those ways. All those ways. And more.

And I should. I do.

But I don’t think that’s exactly what the proverbs writer meant.

WHERE?
So where’s the hot spot? Where should I permanently keep his words?
My heart.

That’s where his words need to find a home. Once I put them there (step 1), I need to keep them there (step 2).

I need to incorporate his words—his story—into my words—my story.
Then I’ll remember.

And I’ll become who they are.

Lord, help me protect your words from escaping.
Your words are my life. I want them to be my story.
And I never want them to leave. More Memory Monday

Yes, I am all about the posting too just to keep it infront of me, but it really is a matter of the heart too! Good post.
