All roads lead home

Comings and goings
Daughter # 3:

She’s leaving home today.
Jenna will spend the weekend with church family.
I’m grateful.

Daughter # 1:
She’s coming home today.
We’ll get all Saturday and Sunday with Morgan.
I’m excited.

Daughter # 2:
She left home and came Home 16 years ago today.
Kali has spent 5,840 days straight with Jesus already.
I’m hopeful.

Mom:
One day, for an eternity of days, we’ll all be Home.
At the same time, same place.
I’m overwhelmed at God’s goodness in his perfect plan.

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God,
the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love
with those who love him and keep his commandments,
to a thousand generations.
Deuteronomy 7:9

Oh Lisa, my heart is hurting for you. I didn't know that you lost your daughter. But what a precious and thankful post of tribute. She is with Jesus and she is home.

It's kind of uncanny but I posted today about our real home. As I read your beautiful way of viewing the circumstances in your life, it ministered to me.

I was unable to have children after many years of trying. My sister had 13 miscarriages and never conceived. She can't wait to see her 'babies' one day in her real home too.

Love and hugs to you,
Debbie

Oh, friend. What a beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful post. Praise be to God we do not have hope for this life only; sweet Kali is risen with Christ and knows True Life, Life Eternal!

Beautiful posting, Lisa, as other have also said.

How beautiful when we can take our losses and know in giving them to God, He keeps them in His all knowing care until all revelation is given to us in eternity.

Love you!
Lynn

Lisa, I am so sorry about the loss of your daughter from this earth. But God has given you a special perspective on heaven and the eternal lives we live there one day because of that. Thank you for sharing that with the rest of us. God bless you.
