Last night at our small group Bible study, one of the young ladies was so ready to be baptized, that her dad agreed to baptize her in the lake behind our house.
So they made a few phone calls to family and friends, and before long, we had a big family of believers to witness and celebrate her decision.
We sang several songs inside while the family got ready. Jenna had some extra clothes for Rose to get wet in, and Jeff had some waders for her dad. Our neighbors also came over with an extra outside light and to take pictures.
It was one of the coolest things I’ve experienced in quite awhile. I love how God can do the most spontaneous things anywhere, anytime.
It was a very fitting way to end last week, and a great beginning to a brand new week. I am thankful to have a new sweet little sister in Christ.
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!

Wow! The fervency of her decision is truly inspiring! Definitely a thanksgiving for how the Spirit works in His children.
