What’s your story?

When we don’t see Jesus, but merely rely on others’ experience of him, sharing Jesus is more difficult and less clear to us and others.

Last night was Byron’s night to share his story with our small group.

He changed it up and shared it loud and clear.new brother

He sealed his covenant with God in baptism last night, in front of his physical family and in front of us.

As we sat around eating chicken stew afterwards, he told us more of his experience with Jesus.

I love hearing these stories.

When I hear how a life once was, and how it now is, because Jesus stepped in, I believe in Him more.

May each of us also do that for others. See Jesus today: He’s your story to tell.

Return to your home,
and declare how much God has done for you.”

And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city
how much Jesus had done for him.
Luke 8:39

How have you seen Jesus today? It’s your story.

I love to hear testimonies of how people came to the Lord.

Awesome! I love hearing about older folk finding faith. Very, very precious. The new found faith of spiritual babes is infectious, and makes me grateful for my salvation all over again!

Blessings on your day, e-Mom

One blogger made a comment not so long ago somewhere else that our story doesn't stop at the finding of Him, but in the journey you continue to grow and change and if you keep your eyes open miraculous things happen.

Lisa,
How wonderful! What a night of great joy it must have been.

I was sharing with our children at breakfast about becoming more and more like Jesus each day and how they wouldn't have recognized their Mama 10 years ago and especially 20 years ago.

It is encouraging to hear what He has done for others and how He has changed them.

I love baptisms. I always end up crying when I hear the testimonies of what Christ has done in lives.
